Powertrain
The Bolero Neo comes with a single diesel engine and misses out on a petrol unit. The 1.5 liter, 3-cylinder diesel engine puts out 100 PS of power with a peak torque of 260 Nm and comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. However, a longer wheelbase version is also around its inception carrying the Bolero moniker, which will have a more powerful unit under the hood.
Bolero Neo Plus- 9-Seater Variant Coming Soon
Keeping discounts aside, a more spacious version of the Bolero Neo Plus is on the cards as well. A 9- seater version, the Bolero Neo Plus has been spotted testing without camo. According to an RTO filing, the Bolero Neo Plus is coming in six variants. Mahindra will offer the extended version of the Bolero Neo in both 7- and 9-seater configurations. On top of this, the ambulance version will be offered in a five-seater layout, making room for the stretcher. This version will be powered by a bigger 2.2-liter mHawk diesel unit.
