MG Majestor

This upcoming SUV is a more premium iteration of the Gloster, and with its launch, the Gloster does not appear to be discontinued. It is expected to be more expensive, more tech-loaded, and feature bold, gangster-inspired styling that has already got everyone talking. Additionally, it will come with a 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine that produces 215.5 PS and 478 Nm of torque, paired with a 4x4 system. The gearbox option will be an 8-speed torque converter automatic.

Now, this isn't an entirely new feature, as the Gloster already comes with seven terrain modes - Snow, Sand, Mud, Auto, Rock, Sport, and Eco. However, with the new model, MG seems to be simplifying things by offering just three modes that intelligently distribute power to all four wheels depending on the terrain. The Majestor is seen wearing large, proportionate wheels in the frame - 265/65 R19 - and the six-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels also look stunning.

Verdict
The Majestor looks highly promising, and MG appears to have designed it keeping the expectations of Indian large SUV buyers in mind. It carries a flashy and imposing road presence, with styling that ensures it leaves a strong impression wherever it goes - something the Majestor seems to execute convincingly.
In terms of pricing, the SUV is expected to start at around Rs 42 lakh (ex-showroom). It is also likely to be offered with only a 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine option.
