Mahindra Scorpio N - the big daddy of SUVs, as the automaker likes to call it, might get a Level 2 ADAS setup soon, as a new teaser has dropped which says - "Power Always Stays On Course", which in easy words means - the power remains consistent. So that might be Mahindra's way of talking about Adaptive Cruise Control, or they might be hinting about Scorpio N getting mild hybrid assistance. Mahindra Scorpio N
Mahindra Scorpio N, India's favourite SUV that despite costing above Rs 15 lakh, comes in the top 10 best selling cars list - all the time. Scorpio N available in six core variants and has two engine and two transmission to choose from. Moreover, it also has 4X4 drivetrain too in its linuep, but that is reserved only with diesel engine, and in top variant Z8L.
The new teaser, which simply tells us that something new is coming in the Scorpio N, hints at Level 2 ADAS. We believe that by studying the photo - where we can see a road with lanes - it could be a sign of the ADAS suite coming to this popular car. Moreover, the features it will get include Smart Pilot Assist, Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Sign Recognition, High Beam Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist.
Apart from this, we suspect that it might get mild-hybrid assistance to improve the fuel efficiency, as because of its heavy built and powerful engines, this SUV is notorious for its poor mileage. A mild-hybrid assistance's impacts aren't limited to just this, it also offers more power or a boost when the throttle is pressed hard. There could be more additions - such as a panoramic sunroof, or a new colour option.

Verdict
Scorpio N, after getting Level 2 ADAS, will become expensive by easily 1.5 lakh, and this is a no-brainer that only Z8 L, the top trim, will receive this safety feature. So, expect the price of this variant to be Rs 27 lakh (ex-showroom). To add more, Mahindra is expected to unravel this addition by this Friday.
