Updated Skoda Kylaq Updated Line-Up- Variants Number Up To Six

The Skoda Kylaq is now offered in the following trims: Classic, Classic+, Signature, Signature+, Prestige, and Prestige+. Prices start at Rs 7.59 lakh and go up to Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom), with both manual and automatic gearbox options available across most of the range. The introduction of the Classic+ also lowers the entry price for the Kylaq automatic, making it more accessible to buyers looking for a turbo-petrol SUV with a torque converter transmission.

Positioned above the base Classic variant, the new Classic+ trim brings a meaningful upgrade in comfort and convenience. While the standard Classic is offered only with a manual gearbox, the Classic+ is available with both manual and automatic transmissions, giving buyers more flexibility. Key additions over the base trim include an electric sunroof, an auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror, rain-sensing wipers, cruise control, and steering-mounted audio and phone controls.

The mid-spec Signature and Signature+ variants have also been updated with features that were earlier reserved for higher trims. Both variants now get a sunroof, rear wiper and washer, rain-sensing wipers, and paddle shifters on automatic versions. With these additions, prices for the Signature trims have seen a marginal increase, but the enhanced feature set helps justify the revision, especially for buyers looking for a balance between equipment and value.
Skoda Kylaq Prestige+ Becomes The New Range-Topper
At the top of the Kylaq range sits the newly introduced Prestige+, which now replaces the standard Prestige as the flagship variant. To create clear differentiation, Skoda has repositioned the existing Prestige slightly lower by removing features such as the powered front seats, which has also reduced its price. The Prestige+ gains additional premium touches, including powered and ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, wireless charging, soft-touch materials across the cabin, and full LED lighting. Automatic variants further benefit from paddle shifters which you also get with thge Prestige variant.

Skoda has also confirmed that a Kylaq Sportline variant will be introduced by September. While full details are yet to be revealed, the Sportline is expected to feature sportier cosmetic elements both inside and out, similar to Skoda's Sportline trims on other models. Mechanical specifications are likely to remain unchanged.
Engine & Transmission Options Remain Unchanged

All Kylaq variants continue to be powered by the familiar 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing 115 hp and 178 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a six-speed torque converter automatic, offering a good mix of performance and everyday usability.
Verdict
The expansion of the Skoda Kylaq range makes the compact SUV a more compelling proposition across a wider budget spectrum. The new Classic+ adds much-needed features at the lower end, while the Prestige+ strengthens the Kylaq's premium appeal. With updated mid-spec variants and a Sportline version on the horizon, Skoda has clearly sharpened the Kylaq's positioning to better take on its rivals in the compact SUV segment.
