Irises Cyan Joins The MG Cyberster Colour Palette

The newly introduced Irises Cyan with the MG Cyberster finish sits between blue and green, subtly shifting tones depending on lighting conditions. It brings a more understated yet premium alternative to the brighter hues already available on the Cyberster. With this addition, MG is clearly targeting buyers who want something unique without being overtly loud. Irises Cyan now joins the existing lineup of Nuclear Yellow and Flare Red, both paired with a contrasting black roof, as well as Andes Grey and Modern Beige, which feature a red fabric soft-top. Beyond the new paint option, there are no changes to the cars design, equipment list, or mechanical setup.
The MG Cyberster continues to stand out as a modern interpretation of classic MG roadsters. Its low-slung stance, long bonnet, wide track and smooth surfacing give it a strong visual presence. Design highlights include electric scissor doors, a soft-top roof, and sharp aerodynamic detailing that contributes to a claimed drag coefficient of 0.269. Built on a dedicated electric platform with a 2,690 mm wheelbase, the Cyberster rides on 20-inch alloy wheels and maintains a sporty, planted look from every angle.

Offered in a single, fully equipped trim, the MG Cyberster comes loaded with technology and comfort features. Key highlights include Level 2 ADAS, multiple airbags, TPMS, electric scissor doors, ambient lighting, powered and heated seats, V2L capability, and automatic climate control, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, additional driver-focused displays, a touchscreen infotainment system with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a premium audio system.
Performance & Range: No Mechanical Changes
Under the skin, the Cyberster remains unchanged. It is powered by a 77 kWh battery pack paired with dual electric motors, producing a combined output of 503 bhp and 725 Nm of torque. This setup enables a claimed 0-100 kmph sprint in just 3.2 seconds, placing the Cyberster firmly in performance EV territory. MG claims a MIDC-certified range of up to 580 km on a full charge.

The MG Cyberster continues to be offered in a single, fully loaded variant, priced at Rs 75 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Irises Cyan shade is available immediately through MG's premium MG SELECT outlets, with bookings open both online and offline.
Verdict
The introduction of the Irises Cyan colour may be a subtle update, but it adds meaningful choice to the MG Cyberster's already striking personality. With no price increase and no compromise on performance or equipment, the new shade enhances the roadster's appeal for buyers seeking exclusivity in the premium EV space. While the Cyberster remains a niche offering, updates like this help keep it fresh and relevant in the electric performance segment.
