Mahindra XUV 7XO & XEV 9S Record Bookings- Demand Says It All

The strong early demand reinforces Mahindra's growing influence in both the ICE and electric SUV categories. With the XUV 7XO catering to petrol and diesel buyers and the XEV 9S strengthening the brand's electric portfolio, Mahindra has positioned itself to address a wide spectrum of customer preferences. The booking figures underline buyer confidence in Mahindra's product strategy, technology focus, and manufacturing capabilities.
The XEV 9S is offered with three battery pack options- 59 kWh, 70 kWh, and 79 kWh, delivering peak power outputs of 170 kW, 180 kW and 210 kW, respectively. Designed as a premium electric SUV, it also sets benchmarks in practicality, offering a spacious cabin, a 527-litre boot, and a sizeable 150-litre front trunk. Flexible seating layouts further enhance its family-friendly appeal. Prices for the Mahindra XEV 9S start at Rs 19.95 lakh and extend up to Rs 29.45 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it competitively in the fast-expanding electric SUV segment.

On the internal combustion side, the XUV 7XO continues with Mahindra's proven engine lineup, including a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing over 200 hp and a 2.2-litre diesel engine rated at 185 hp. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual and an automatic transmission, depending on the variant and powertrain. Feature highlights include a 540-degree camera system, ventilated seats for the front and second rows, a premium 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, wireless charging, and Level 2 ADAS calibrated for Indian road conditions. Deliveries To Roll Out In Phases
Mahindra has confirmed that deliveries of the XEV 9S will commence in a phased manner starting the week of January 26, 2026. Meanwhile, deliveries of the XUV 7XO have already begun across dealerships nationwide, ensuring minimal waiting periods for early buyers.
