The Maruti Suzuki Fronx, which has been available in India since its introduction in April, is currently offered with a starting price of Rs. 7.46 lakh (ex-showroom). This month marks the first time the Baleno-based crossover has received a discount since its launch.

The Maruti Fronx is available in five variants Sigma, Delta, Delta Plus, Zeta, and Alpha, with options for both petrol and CNG powertrains. Currently, the petrol variants of the model come with discounts of up to Rs. 25,000, comprising a cash discount of Rs. 15,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs. 10,000. These discounts are applicable until 31 December 2023.

Engine Details
As for the mechanical specifications, the Maruti Fronx offers two engine choices a 1.2-litre NA petrol and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The 1.2-litre engine delivers 89bhp and 113Nm of torque, available with both a five-speed manual and an AMT unit. On the other hand, the more powerful turbo-petrol motor generates 99bhp and 147Nm of peak torque, with transmission options including a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic torque converter gearbox. Additionally, the Sigma and Delta variants of the Fronx provide the option for a factory-fitted CNG kit, starting at a price of Rs. 8.41 lakh (ex-showroom).
Verdict
Ever since its launch, Maruti Fronx kept rolling off the showrooms at the set price. The December 2023 is the first time when this compact SUV is offered with discount and offers of any kind.
