Maruti Wagon R Without Rear Defogger Function
The carmaker has decided to remove the rear defogger function from the Wagon R's top-spec ZXi Plus manual and automatic variants. This feature was useful during cold weather and rainy seasons as it helped maintain rear visibility when the windows were up and the rear windscreen fogged up due to rain. While this change doesn't affect other features of the Wagon R, it might disappoint some buyers of the top variants who expected more comfort.

Maruti Wagon R - Price, Powertrain, Specifications & Rivals
Maruti Wagon R is available in 11 variants, with prices ranging from Rs 5.55 lakh to Rs 7.43 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). You have two engine choices: a 1-litre unit with 67PS power and 89Nm torque, and a 1.2-litre unit with 90PS power and 113Nm torque. Both engines can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission. If you opt for the CNG variant, it comes with the 1-litre engine delivering 57PS power and 82.1Nm torque, available only with a 5-speed manual transmission. It has a spacious boot with a capacity of 341 litres.
