Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB Gets A New Shade
Mercedes-Benz India is celebrating the first anniversary of the new long-wheelbase E-Class sedan. To mark this special occasion, the brand has introduced a new Verde Silver paint finish into the palette, adding a layer of exclusivity. Over the past year, the E Class has proved itself as a benchmark in the segment with several awards, including the ICOTY 2024.
What's Inside?
Stepping inside this luxury sedan, you'll be greeted with a third-gen MBUX touchscreen infotainment screen along with 17 speakers, Burmester 4D Surround Sound System with Dolby Atmos. Meanwhile, the main focus remains on the rear seat, which gets reclining seats, extendable thigh support, neck pillow and electrically operated blinds. In terms of safety, it is loaded with eight airbags, blind spot assist, auto emergency braking and much more.
Powertrain
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is available with three engine options: two petrol engines and one diesel. The E200 is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine, which belts out 204hp and 320 nm of torque. Meanwhile, this one can go from 0-100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds. The E220d is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel mill, which churns out 297 hp and 440 Nm of torque, while this can go to 100km/h in just 7.6 seconds. However, there's one more variant, E 450 4-Matic AMG Line, which is powered by a 3.0-litre inline petrol engine that gives out 381 hp and 500 Nm of torque. Being a performance-oriented spec, it can go from 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
Pricing
The new Verde Silver shade of E-Class LWB will be offered across the full range of trims, starting with the E200 at Rs 78.5 lakh, followed by the E220d at Rs 80.5 lakh, and topping out with the E450 4MATIC AMG Line at Rs 91.7 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). Adding to its appeal, Mercedes-Benz is also passing on a price benefit of up to Rs 6 lakh, making the E-Class not just a symbol of luxury, but also a more compelling value proposition in its segment.
