MG Motors India revealed two of its highly anticipated cars at the Auto Expo 2025, where they announced that the MG Cyberster and the MG M9 MPV are all set to be introduced in India via the MG Select Dealerships across the nation. MG M9 MPV Colour Options Revealed
While some details were already conveyed at the Auto Expo 2025 about the MG M9 MPV and amongst many other things, including the price, the colour selection was kept behind curtains. Now, ahead of its imminent launch, the brand has revealed the colour options, and you can select from three options in the palette- Luminous White, Cardiff Black, and Mystic Grey.
The MG M9 EV makes a strong impression right from the start with its striking, contemporary design. It features a wide grille with chrome accents, sleek LED headlamps up front, and a full-width LED light bar at the rear that enhances its futuristic vibe. Rolling on 19-inch alloys, the M9 offers a refined blend of comfort and sophistication. Known globally as the Mifa 9, this full-size electric MPV stretches over 5.2 metres in length with a 3-metre wheelbase, clearly prioritising interior space and luxury for eco-conscious families.
Interior And Features
The MG M9 EV is loaded with premium features designed for comfort and convenience. It gets two sunroofs- a standard single-pane and a panoramic one, alongside wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, and a 12-speaker sound system. Occupants also benefit from triple-zone climate control, wireless charging, and ventilated, powered front and second-row seats with massage functions. On the safety front, it packs in seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, hill hold assist, and advanced driver aids like adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist with Level 2 ADAS, and a few more.

Battery And Range
The MG M9 is equipped with a single 90 kWh battery pack that powers a front-wheel-drive setup. It produces 244 PS and 350 Nm of torque, offering a WLTP-claimed range of 430 km. For quick top-ups, the EV supports 120 kW DC fast charging, which can charge the battery from 30 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes, making it practical for long-distance travel as well as daily use.
Price And Rivals
As for its pricing, it will be assembled in India and will be brought here as CKD units, which is far better than the CBU route that attracts even more tax. This could help MG to price it aggressively and around 75-80 lakhs ex-showroom. It will be an alternative to the Toyota Vellfire, Kia Carnival, and other premium MPVs.
Verdict
The MG M9 MPV is set to become one of the two models sold via MG's new 'Select' outlets, targeting buyers in the premium space with a unique electric alternative. In a market dominated by SUVs and sedans, the M9 offers something different, an all-electric MPV that blends luxury and sustainability. However, its success will likely hinge on how competitively MG prices it, as value for money could be the key factor in attracting buyers to this niche segment.
