Design and Style

Spy shots reveal that the new motorcycle gets a fully-faired body design, unlike the current naked Dominar lineup. It features a tall windscreen, muscular front fascia and a beak-style design, all of which are typical elements seen on purpose-built adventure bikes.
The bike also appears to have upright riding ergonomics, wide handlebar setup and likely long-travel suspension. These changes indicate a clear focus on touring and light off-road capability, rather than just highway cruising.
Engine and Platform
While official specifications are not confirmed yet, the new ADV is expected to be based on a reworked Dominar platform. Reports suggest that Bajaj could introduce a new 350cc engine, instead of the current 373cc unit, aligning with the brand's strategy to benefit from lower GST slabs in India. This engine could also power multiple upcoming Bajaj motorcycles in the near future.
Need & Rivels
Bajaj currently lacks a true adventure motorcycle in its lineup. With this new model, the company may finally enter the entry-level ADV segment. It will target growing demand for affordable touring motorcycles and could rival with the upcoming and existing bikes in the 300-400cc category. The move also aligns with Bajajs broader plan to expand into new sub-segments and platforms.
Expected Launch Timeline
Bajaj has not officially confirmed the launch date yet. However, since the bike has been spotted without camouflage, a debut could happen in the coming months or within the next year.

Verdict
The upcoming Dominar X ADV looks like a significant evolution over the current Dominar range, transforming it from a sport-tourer into a more versatile adventure machine. With a new design, possible new engine strategy, and improved touring credentials, Bajaj seems ready to tap into one of the fastest-growing motorcycle segments in India.
