Nissan Magnite In Pictures: What To Expect From Maruti Brezza Rival?

The SUV market in India is trending and it is the compact SUVs segment which keeps it interesting. It is such that every carmaker want's to enjoy a fair taste of the sub-4-metre segment and now we have Nissan Magnite in pictures.

Nissan Magnite packs in a crossover design with bulging wheel arches and will look different from current compact SUVs we have now. The Maruti Brezza rival will come only in a sole petrol engine but with the availability of a turbo petrol engine too.

If we go for the styling bits that we can see in the Nissan Magnite pictures then it will carry LED lights treatment at the front and rear. And to increase the aesthetics, it might have dual-tone alloy wheels and two-tone body paint.

Like its elder sibling Kicks, the Magnite will be feature-rich too. The compact SUV will come with an electric sunroof, 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, a larger touchscreen unit and among others. As of now Hyundai Venue is the only SUV which is loaded with features up to the brim.

Like we said above, the engine options on the Nissan Magnite will only be 1.0-litre naturally and turbo petrol motors. The lower trims of the compact SUV will pack in 72bhp and 96 Nm of torque. Transmission for this will be mated to a 5-speed manual and an optional AMT. While the higher trims will get a 1.0L turbo petrol engine which makes as much as 95 bhp on tap. It'll get either a 5-speed manual or a CVT. If the latter comes then it'll be unique in its segment.

Coming to the prices of the upcoming SUV, Magnite then it will start from Rs 5.25 lakh which makes it the cheapest compact SUV. And the top-spec model can be expected to reach just Rs 10 lakh mark, ex-showroom, Delhi. Once launched the SUV rivals with Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford Ecosport and Mahindra XUV300.
