Skoda Kushaq is one of the most anticipated mid-size SUVs that is launching on June 28. Now, new information has surfaced on the internet that Skoda is planning to bring the bigger and more powerful 1.5L turbo petrol TSI of the Kushaq in August. Yes, on June 28, the Czech carmaker will only launch the 1.0L petrol with both manual and automatic transmission.
Sharing more light on the mechanicals of the 1.0L petrol then this one churns out 115 PS with a peak torque of 175 Nm. This is the same unit as seen on the Rapid 1.0L but now generates more power. A 6-speed manual will come as a standard while the 6-speed automatic will be optional.
Skoda is planning to bring the Kushaq in three variants only - Active, Ambition and Style. While the 1.0L petrol will be available with all the variants, the 1.5L will be reserved for the top-spec Style variant only. As of now, there is no information if the carmaker will be bringing the sportier Onyx and Monte Carlo variants.
