It is not new that the waiting period of popular cars soars as high as 2 months or sometimes 5-6 months and in a rare case like that of Mahindra Thar where the waiting period is as high as 1 year. Well, today, we bring you an update from Renault where the waiting period of the Kiger is as high as 2 months.
Before we go any further and bring you all the latest updates about the waiting period of the Renault Kiger and what makes it so popular, make sure you are a member of our exclusive 91Wheels Telegram group where we bring you all the latest updates related to the Indian Automotive Industry.
Being the most affordable compact SUV in the segment starting at Rs 5.45 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi, the Kiger even gives competition to some well-established hatchbacks. At this price, it provides features, better ground clearance and of course a good cabin space.
Bigger Boot Space
Now, who doesn't love roadtrips? At 405 litres not only the cargo space is more than its cousin Nissan Magnite but it is larger than every other compact SUV present in the segment.
Segment first PM 2.5 Air Filter
If you live in metro cities or urban areas then you know how bad the pollution is. Well, you need not worry when you choose Kiger as the air quality inside the cabin remains fresh always. It gets a segment-first PM 2.5 clean air filter which lets you breathe in fresh air whenever you are inside.
Even though it is a fairly new SUV, the Kiger packs in some features a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with automatic climate control and cruise control. It also gets ambient lighting, wireless phone charging and others.
For safety, it also gets four airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist (HBA), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA). Additionally, it's cousin Nissan Magnite also gets a Latin NCAP crash rating of 4-stars so it is safer to say that the Kiger also packs in the same since they both share the same CMF-A platform.
Do tell us in the comment section as to what do you think about the Renault Kiger and do you like this compact SUV? Will you choose this or the others like Nissan Magnite, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Ford Ecosport and Hyundai Venue.
