Royal Enfield is all set to launch the Himalayan-based Royal Enfield Scram 411 in India in February 2022. The bike will not only be more affordable than the RE Himalayan but will also offer a different package to attract those who want a more subtle version of the bike. The new Royal Enfield Scram 411 may not boast great off-roading capabilities and will be road-oriented. The official name of the bike is yet to confirm. Here are all the details that you should know about this upcoming Royal Enfield bike in India. As per the leaked images, the bike is expected to get share most of its underpinnings with the Himalayan ADV and will look largely similar to the latter. However, the Scram 411 will be more affordable and will have a few differences to differentiate it from the Himalayan. For starters, the Scram 411 will also miss out on the long windscreen at the front while other parts like split seats, standard luggage rack, large front wheel, etc too will be missing. The bike is also expected to offer smaller wheels, a stiffer suspension, a single-seat, and a rear pillion grab handle.

This upcoming Royal Enfield bike in India is expected to feature the same LS410 motor that also powers the Himalayan. This 411cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC engine churns out a maximum power output of 24.3 bhp while the maximum torque output stands at 32 Nm. This engine comes mated to a five-speed gearbox and. It will however be interesting to see how Royal Enfield positions this new bike in its portfolio.
Royal Enfield is also said to be working on a more powerful version of the Himalayan. This new Himalayan is expected to feature a more powerful engine while we may also see a more capable mechanical setup. No more details are however available for this upcoming bike.
