Skoda Kushaq India Launch on This Date in June - Check Out All The Latest Details

Skoda Auto India Private Limited is gearing up for its biggest launch of the year. The all-new Skoda Kushaq mid-size SUV made its World Premiere in India in March this year. The Kushaq will be the first offering from Skoda under its new India 2.0 Project. Originally, it was slated to be launched in May this year but due to the second wave of the COVID-19, the company postponed its launch. But now, the official India launch date of the Skoda Kushaq has been revealed. Here are all the latest details you need to know.

Skoda Kushaq - Launch Date in India

The Indian subsidiary of the Czech car manufacturer has finally revealed the India launch date of the Skoda Kushaq. The all-new Skoda Kushaq will be launched in India on June 28, 2021, and the prices will be announced on the same day. The Skoda Kushaq is a highly-anticipated SUV and it is a very important product for Skoda in India. Also, it will be the second big launch for Skoda in India within a month. Just a few days ago, the carmaker also launched the new fourth-generation Skoda Octavia in the Indian market.

Skoda Kushaq - New Colours and Variant Details

The variant details of the Skoda Kushaq have also been now revealed. Upon its launch, the new Skoda Kushaq will be available in three trim levels. They are Active, Ambition and Style. The company will also introduce an all-new range-topping variant called Monte Carlo for the Kushaq in the future. Now, if we talk about the colour shades on offer, so the new Skoda Kushaq will be available in a total of five colour variants. They are Candy White, Brilliant Silver, Honey Orange, Carbon Steel and Tornado Red. These are mono-tone colours but Skoda might offer dual-tone options too in the near future.

Skoda Kushaq - Engine Specifications

The new Skoda Kushaq SUV will be available with two BS6 compliant turbo petrol engines. The first one will be a 1.0-litre TSI that will churn out 115 PS of power and 175 Nm of peak torque. It will also get a 1.5-litre TSI mill that will churn out 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. Both the mills will come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and while the 1.0-litre TSI will also get a 6-speed AT, the 1.5-litre TSI will get a 7-speed DSG too.

Skoda Kushaq - Expected Price and Rivals

The all-new Skoda Kushaq mid-size SUV is expected to be priced between Rs. 9.99 lakhs - Rs. 15.99 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. The production of the SUV has already commenced at the Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd (SAVWIPL) plant in Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra and it will be launched to rival the likes of the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, etc. Are you excited about its launch?
