MG Motor India Donated MG Hector Plus COVID-19 Mobile Testing SUV - Check Out All The Details

MG Motor India made its Indian debut in June 2019 with the Hector SUV and since then, the company has launched a lot of new products. MG has some great vehicles in its Indian portfolio but along with its really good vehicle line-up, the company is even known for its social and charitable works in the country. Recently, MG Motor India has donated a Hector Plus COVID-19 Mobile Testing SUV in Gujarat. Here are all the details about it.

MG Hector Plus COVID-19 Mobile Testing SUV - Details

MG Motor India has converted its Hector Plus SUV into a Covid-19 mobile testing unit. This MG Hector Plus SUV will be used as Dhanvantari Rath for Covid-19 vaccination, testing and other mobile healthcare services in the state of Gujarat. It will be used by the healthcare professionals for RTPCR test sample collection and to execute the vaccination drive in remote areas.

The first unit of the MG Hector Plus mobile testing unit was handed over to Executive Magistrate & Mamlatdar Halol in presence of some other eminent personalities of the local body and the Gujarat state government. Speaking on the occasion, Rajeev Chaba, President & MD, MG Motor India said, "Mobile health services are the need of the hour as the nation recovers from the pandemic and inline remains our focus at MG towards serving the communities in the best manner possible through the MG Sewa initiative. As part of the current initiative, the first Hector Plus mobile testing unit donated will be used for supporting healthcare services in the region."

As a part of MG Sewa, MG Motor India has recently also launched various initiatives including MG Healthline for its customers for providing medical assistance. Just a few weeks ago, MG Motor India also announced to provide 100 MG Hector Ambulance with life-saving systems for COVID-19 patients in India and 8 of them were immediately delivered.
