Skoda has given us some great cars and the RS range of cars are absolute gems to get modified. India is full of Octavia vRS' and the newly launched RS245 which was just limited to 200 units. Today we are featuring the predecessor of the popular Octavia - Skoda Laura RS and this one is heavily modified to put your so-called sports cars in its side mirrors.
From the outside, the car seems stock with no ricer mods. All the mods are mechanical and lie under the hood. The engine has been tuned to APR Stage 3 mod which extracts most performance with 93 octane fuel. Talking about the other mods, this Laura RS has got ECU remap, Magnaflow turbo back exhaust with dual tips, forge blow off valve, SPEC stage 3 + clutch, Quaife limited-slip differential and Pipercross air filters carbon induction kit. To sport the extra power, APR front mount intercooler system has also been added.

Other than engine mods, we have Audi R8 coil pack with NGK plugs, KW street comfortline coil-over suspension, 330mm brake set and silicon hose kit with charge pipe. The car rides on 17-inch Momo rims shod with Michelin pilot sport 4 tyres of size 225/45 R17. This Laura RS has also hit The Valley Run and marked its winning multiple times with different rankings.
Powering this modified Skoda Laura RS is a 1.8-litre petrol engine which, after all these mods, produces near 320bhp! The engine has been upgraded with a K04 turbocharger resulting in blistering performance. The cost of all the mods is not known and it is also not viable to ask this question to a car nut.
