The camouflaged test mule of the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift has been spotted again. However, this time it's the interiors of the new Nexon facelift that have been spied. The interior spy images of the Nexon facelift reveal a lot of new updates & changes on the dashboard of the Nexon. There are also many new additions and new features visible in the spy images. Tata Nexon Interior Spied: New Updates & Changes

The spy images of the Tata Nexon facelift reveal a new design steering wheel that looks like the steering wheel we saw in Tata's concept cars like concept Curvv ICE, Sierra EV, etc. The spied vehicle also has a tweeter mounted on the A-pillar, which means either the front tweeter placement has been changed or it gets more than an 8-speaker+tweeter setup. Moreover, the infotainment screen looks like the larger 10.24-inch unit that the Harrier, Safari, and Nexon EV Max got recently.

Although the dashboard layout of the Nexon facelift seems similar to the ongoing model, there's a major change in the instrument cluster as you can see in the image above. It looks like a fully digital large display in the instrument cluster area. It could possibly be a 7-inch display. Also, the graphic seen in the display might be of the TPMS system in the new Nexon facelift.

Tata Nexon Interior Spied: New Features

The spy images of the Nexon facelift test vehicle also reveal a new gear lever. It seems like a shift-by-wire gearbox and probably a torque converter or dual-clutch unit. That's because of the 'P' mentioned below the gear lever. AMT transmissions like the one in the ongoing Nexon do not have 'P' or parking mode.

There are also paddle shifters visible in one of the spy images. This signals a higher chance of a DCT gearbox. However, it could still be a torque converter unit.

Verdict: The updates, changes, and new features visible in the spy images of the upcoming Tata Nexon facelift looks exciting. Tata seems to be getting ready with a facelift product that will not only disrupt the current compact SUV segment but will also create new benchmarks in the segment apart from being one of the safest SUVs.
