Tata Tiago EV Bagged Over 10,000 Bookings On First Day

• Tata Tiago EV bagged over 10,000 bookings on day 1
• In October 2022, the Tiago EV will be on display in popular malls around important cities
• Customers will be able to take test drives starting in late December 2022
• The deliveries of the Tiago EV will start from January 2023

On September 28, Tata Motors introduced the Tiago EV in India, and on October 10, reservations for the vehicle opened. The Tiago EV received an incredible response on the first day of booking, surpassing 10,000 bookings. Tata Motors has expanded the special introductory pricing, beginning at Rs 8.49 Lakh (All India - Ex-showroom) to an additional 10,000 customers in response to the overwhelming consumer interest and to further promote the widespread adoption of EVs. Customers can book the Tiago EV by paying a booking amount of Rs 21,000.

Extending the introductory offer, Mr. Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, "We are delighted with the overwhelming response to the Tiago.ev and thank our customers for embarking on the EV journey. To acknowledge the passion to go EV and to firmly support the mass adoption of EVs we have decided to extend the introductory pricing to an additional 10,000 customers.

Tata Tiago EV Specs

The Tata Tiago EV is available in two battery options: a 19.2 kWh and a 24 kWh battery pack. The former has a 250 km MIDC range on a full charge, whereas the latter has a 315 km range.  The larger 24 kWh battery pack delivers 74 bhp and 114 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the 19.2 kWh battery pack gives 60 bhp of power and 110 Nm of peak torque.

A touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, power-folding ORVMs, automatic climate control, a digital instrument cluster, drive modes, LED daytime running lights, push-button start/stop, and more are part of the Tiago EV's feature list.
