TVS Racing Enhances Safety: Alpinestars Tech Air 5 Airbag Vest

Alpinestars Tech Air 5 Airbag Vest, known for its advanced technology, is now being used in TVS racing. This vest, favoured by top MotoGP riders, provides great protection for racers. By automatically inflating, it shields vital upper body areas, significantly reducing the risk of serious injuries.

The Alpinestars Tech-Air 5 boasts six built-in sensors, including three gyroscopes and three accelerometers. Thanks to its advanced crash algorithm powered by AI, it accurately detects when to deploy the airbag in case of a crash. Upon impact, the vest swiftly inflates, safeguarding the rider's shoulders, chest, ribs, and entire back within a maximum inflation time of 20 to 40 milliseconds, depending on the airbag's size.

Charging the system is made convenient with a magnetic micro USB charger, and its lithium-ion battery offers up to 30 hours of riding time. Additionally, users can access a dedicated app that provides various functionalities via Bluetooth connectivity. This includes monitoring battery status, analyzing ride data, checking the system's operational status, and toggling between Street and Race modes, among other features.
