Upcoming Cars in October 2026

With the festive season around the corner, October is going to be a busy month in the Indian automobile sector, as many launches are planned to happen in the month. The list is long, from entry-level hatchbacks to big SUVs. Let's deep dive and check what the upcoming launches are in October. 

Honda Elevate Facelift

The Honda Elevate is about to get the mid-cycle update in the first week of October on the 6th. This will be the first major update since Honda has launched Elevate in the Indian market. Before this, Honda had only come up with new special editions.

The Honda Elevate Facelift is expected to get the much-needed features like ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, a powered co-driver seat, rear sun blinds and a panoramic sunroof. 

The facelift can also get a new front and rear design with fresh headlamps and taillamps along with a grille and both bumpers. On the side, the only expected major change is new alloys. 

Honda may continue with the same engine; however, all stars are aligned perfectly to welcome a hybrid engine since the demand is rising. Currently the Elevate costs range from Rs. 11.80 lakh to Rs. 15.59 lakh, ex-showroom. With the new features, we can expect a price hike of Rs. 50,000. 

Toyota Glanza Facelift

Maruti has just launched the 2026 Baleno, and being a cousin of it, Glanza is all set to get the facelift. This facelift is about to get launched in the second week of October. 

We don’t expect much change in design. It will be more or less identical to the 2026 Baleno Facelift. Like Baleno, Glanza will also drop the 1.2-liter 4-cylinder engine and come up with a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine. Also offered with CNG, that too with an AMT gearbox option.

The features are also expected to be similar to Baleno Facelift, like a 9-inch infotainment screen, a 360-degree camera, a HUD, cruise control and a few more. 

Volvo EX90 & ES90

Considered to make the safest cars in the world, it is planning to launch its two new products, EX90 & ES90, on 12th October. EX90 is a competitor of the Audi Q8 e-tron and Mercedes EQS SUV. Whereas, the ES90 will compete with the EQS and BMW i7. 

The EX90 has a long list of features, which includes four-zone climate control, Level 2 ADAS and a glass roof with an opaque function. A 14.5-inch touchscreen and 9-inch instrument cluster are on offer. Other notable features are a 360-degree camera with autopark, a 25-speaker Bowers and Wilkins music system, air suspension and 8 airbags. It gets power from an 111 kWh battery mated to a dual-motor AWS with a WLTP range of 600 km.

The features and powertrain in ES90 is also identical to EX90. The expected price of both may range between Rs. 1.1 crore and Rs. 1.7 crore. 

Audi Q3

The third-gen Audi Q3 is all set to be launched on 16th October. Audi’s entry-level SUV will continue with the same 2.0-liter TSI engine, but it will be tuned to generate more power.
The new features will include a dual-screen dashboard with a 12.8-inch infotainment screen and a 11.9-inch instrument cluster. There will also be powered front seats, a 360-degree camera, a wireless charger, a panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting.

Hyundai Bayon 

Hyundai is all set to enter the compact crossover segment with the launch of Bayon happening around 26th October. Bayon will sit between the Creta and the Venue. The design of the car looks almost similar to the international version; however, the interior and feature list may look more identical to the Venue. 

The Bayon is expected to have a 1.5-liter NA engine paired with MT and iVT automatic. It may come with a CNG option as well. The prices are expected to range between Rs. 10 and 14 lakh. 

Skoda Slavia Facelift 

Skoda has showcased the facelift of the Slavia in August. It has got a refreshed design with minor tweaks. It has a new list of features with a 10.2-inch instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch infotainment system with an AI assistant. The other features are rear-seat massage, ventilated front seats, and a list that goes on.

The Slavia facelift comes with the same engine as earlier. However, Skoda has introduced a new 8-speed torque converter gearbox with a 1.0-liter TSI engine. Previously, there was a 6-speed AT. It is expected to get a price hike, ranging between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 70,000.
