Volvo XC40 Recharge Single Launched At Rs. 54.95 lakh - Get 592 Km Range

Volvo Car India has launched a new single-motor variant of the Volvo XC40 Recharge electric SUV priced at Rs. 54.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Volvo XC40 Recharge Single: Under The Hood

The new XC40 Recharge Single comes with a 69kWh battery and a single electric motor, producing 238bhp of power and 420Nm of torque. It can travel up to 592 kilometres on a single charge, as per ICAT.

According to Volvo, the EV SUV can go from 0 to 100 kph in 7.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 180 kph.

Volvo XC40 Recharge Single: Features

In terms of features, the EV comes equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wired Apple CarPlay, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an air purifier, wireless phone charging, a 250 W 8-speaker sound system, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and more.

For safety, it includes seven airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a rear parking camera, front and rear parking sensors, and ADAS.

Volvo XC40 Recharge Single: Colour, Warranty Details And More

The XC40 Recharge's single-motor variant offers a significant saving of Rs 2.95 lakh compared to the dual-motor Ultimate variant. You can choose from eight appealing colour options, including Cloud Blue, Crystal White, Onyx Black, Saga Green, Fjord Blue, Silver Dawn, Bright Dusk, and Vapour Grey.

Volvo is also providing an eight-year battery warranty, a three-year comprehensive car warranty, a three-year service package, three-year roadside assistance, and a five-year subscription to digital services.

The new Volvo XC40 Single will be brought to India through the CKD route and assembled locally at the company's facility in Hosakote, Karnataka.
