Bajaj Chetak C35

The Bajaj Chetak C25 has gone on sale across India with a limited-time early bird offer of Rs 4,299 for the first 10,000 customers, bringing its effective price down to Rs 87,100 (ex-showroom).  Positioned as the most affordable Chetak, it gets a 2.5 kWh battery with a claimed range of up to 113 km and is aimed at practical urban commuting.

The updated Bajaj Chetak was set to launch on January 14, 2026, with noticeable design changes including a new horizontal LED tail-lamp and refreshed body panels. 
It is also expected to get key mechanical upgrades like a hub-mounted motor and front disc brake, while largely retaining existing battery options and overall positioning.

The next-gen Bajaj Chetak has been spied testing ahead of its expected 2026 launch, hinting at subtle design tweaks while retaining its familiar retro styling. It is likely to get major upgrades including a new TFT display, improved ergonomics, and a shift to a hub-mounted motor with a larger battery pack offering up to 160 km range.

The Bajaj Chetak 3001 has been launched in India at Rs 99,900 (ex-showroom), replacing the earlier Chetak 2903 as the entry-level variant in the lineup. It is built on the 35 Series platform and gets a 3.0 kWh battery pack offering a claimed 127 km range, with the model now joining variants like the 3501, 3502 and 3503 in the updated Chetak range.

The Bajaj Chetak 3001 was reported to be launching soon as a new entry-level variant and was expected to come with a 3 kWh battery pack paired with a 3.1 kW electric motor.

Bajaj was reportedly working on a new, more affordable Chetak variant that would serve as an upgrade over the entry-level 2903 model, aimed at expanding the EV scooter’s reach. 

The Bajaj Chetak 3503 has been launched in India at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom) as a more affordable variant in the 35 Series lineup. It offers a claimed range of around 155 km on a full charge, features a colour LCD console and 35-litre storage, but misses out on premium elements like the smart-key system to keep costs lower.

The new Bajaj Chetak electric scooter has been spotted testing under heavy camouflage, and it is expected to be positioned as a more affordable entry-level model in the lineup. The upcoming version could feature simpler hardware and cost-saving components, likely aimed at expanding market reach while retaining the familiar Chetak design and brand appeal.
