2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk Launch in India In March- Specs Revealed

The 2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk variant will slot in above the top-spec Compass Model S variant. Bookings for the same have also started.

Jeep India is all set to bring the updated Compass Trailhawk and it is set for launch in March, the exact date is yet to be confirmed. Hailed to be the off-road version of the regular Compass SUV, the 2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk will slot in above the top-spec Compass Model S variant that is priced at Rs. 29.34 lakhs. And now that we have a tentative launch timeline, we have got some exclusive spec details about the upcoming SUV.  

2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk: Exterior and Dimension

The Jeep Compass Trailhawk will boast of the same updated exterior design, as seen on the 2021 Compass. However, the overall appeal will be much more pronounced with grey inserts, a black-painted roof, an anti-reflective hood, and the letter TRAILHAWK etched on the side.

However, interestingly, the off-road spec Compass Trailhawk has a ground clearance of 205 mm and it runs on 255/60 R17 tires. The standard Compass, on the other hand, has a ground clearance of 208 mm and rides on 18-inch alloys. Aside from this small difference, the front fascia gets the same new grille with faux air vents that also house the camera for 360-degree parking assistance, in the middle. The front bumper has been redesigned for better approach and departure angles. Other stand out exterior features available with the Compass Trailhawk are:

2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk: Interior and Safety Features

The 2022 Compass Trailhawk will get the same updated, posh cabin as was seen on the 2021 Compass. This includes a completely new dashboard with leather inserts that also houses the large 10.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with connected car tech, Wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

The seats are wrapped in the same black leather with Trailhawk inscribed on the headrest. The front row gets ventilated seats with 8-way power adjustment and memory functions. The steering wheel is leather-wrapped alongside the new 10.25-inch instrument cluster, on the drivers side. Rear passengers are treated to a generous amount of space and separate air vents.

When it comes to safety, standard on the Compass Trailhawk are 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, hill-assist, electronic roll mitigation, and tire pressure monitor system. When it comes to airbags, itll get six of those, including all-row full-length side curtain airbags.

2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk: Engine and Transmission

The 2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk gets just one engine and transmission option. The 2.0-liter Multijet II Turbo Diesel that produces 170 hp@3750 rpm+/-, and 350 Nm of torque from as early as 1750 RPM; comes mated to a standard 9-speed automatic transmission. Jeep provides the 4x4 drivetrain as standard as well.
