2023 Hyundai Verna Interior Teased Ahead Of 21 March Launch

On March 21, Hyundai India will introduce the 2023 Verna, which features a completely new design and new technology. Several teasers regarding the upcoming sedan's appearance and interior design have been released by the brand. The brand has also disclosed the forthcoming Verna's dimensions. In terms of interior and boot space, the Verna 2023 will be the largest in its segment. The brand has now unveiled a fresh teaser that features the sedan's instrument panel and connecting rear tail lamp.

The rear of the sedan was clearly displayed in the latest Verna teaser, and the connected tail lamp design enhances the beauty of the rear. Also, the brand displayed the vehicle's digital instrument cluster and multi-function steering wheel. The 1.5-liter turbo-petrol model with Eco, Normal, and Sport drive modes was the one displayed in the teaser.

The all-new Verna will offer the best segment wheelbase of 2,670 mm and the best segment width of 1,765 mm. 4,535 mm length, and 1,475 mm height1 are the dimensions of the 2023 Verna. It also gets a 528 litre boot space which is biggest in the segment. According to the brand, there is good space management with more shoulder room for front- and back-seat occupants. In addition to smart storage optimization, the new Hyundai Verna has a bigger trunk opening, a phone holder, several bottle holders, a multipurpose console, and glovebox cooling.

The upcoming Verna will boast a plethora of features such as a touchscreen infotainment, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, ventilated seats and other features. It might also get the ,updated safety features and inclusion of ADAS tech.

The RDE-compliant and E20 fuel ready engines that will power the 2023 Hyundai Venra include a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, producing 160 bhp and 253 Nm of torque. There will also be a 1.5 MPi NA Petrol engine with a 6MT and an IVT transmission that produces 115 bhp and 144 Nm of torque. 

Verdict: It's anticipated that the 2023 Hyundai Verna would cost a little more than the present model. In order to adhere to the new RDE standards, the brand is discontinuing the diesel engine. With the facelift, the Verna will have improved room, features, and a fresh look, making it a fierce rival to the Honda City, Skoda Slavia, and VW Virtus.
