Soon after the Mahindra XUV700 launch, MG India launched their Astor with level-2 ADAS in October 2021. Last December, Toyota launched the Innova HyCross with level-2 ADAS in India. Moreover, this year we have already seen the launch of the 2023 MG Hector facelift, the updated 2023 Tata Safari/Harrier, and the 2023 Honda City facelift. All these models now offer ADAS tech. Though Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari/Harrier & MG Hector, all offer a front-mounted radar and camera for ADAS, it is only the Tata Safari/Harrier that also offers two rear corner-mounted radars for ADAS. Verdict: The MG Hector offers the ADAS tech in its top-end Savvy Pro trim which is priced between Rs 22.09 lakh to Rs 22.78 lakh (ex-showroom). The Mahindra XUV700 gets the ADAS tech on the AX7 & AX7 Luxury Pack trims. The two trims of the XUV700 are priced between Rs 19.88 lakh to Rs 25.47 lakh (ex-showroom). The Safari gets the ADAS tech in the top-end XZA+(O) trim that is priced between Rs 24.46 lakh to Rs 25.01 lakh (ex-showroom). The Harrier too gets the ADAS tech in the top-end XZA+(O) trim that is priced between Rs 23.61 lakh to Rs 24.06 lakh (ex-showroom). Hence, when it comes to pricing, the Mahindra XUV700 is the most affordable ADAS-equipped SUV of the three. The MG Hector is a bit more expensive than XUV700, whereas the Tata Safari & Harrier are the costliest ADAS-equipped SUVs on this list.
