Bajaj Auto is on a journey to expand its lineup collection with new models. Now, the company is getting ready to launch the Pulsar N160, a new Pulsar motorcycle. The Bajaj Pulsar N160 will be released in the second half of June 2022, although the motorcycle's specific debut date has yet to be confirmed by the two-wheeler manufacturer.
The upcoming N160 motorcycle is likely to be a scaled-down version of the Pulsar N250, powered by the same 160.3cc engine that powers the NS160. The engine produces 16.9 bhp of power and 14.6 Nm of peak torque and is connected to a 5-speed transmission. The visuals and underpinnings will be identical to the N250.

When it comes to the components of the 2022 Bajaj Pulsar N160, we can expect it to have the same suspension configuration as its older brother, the N250, with telescopic forks and mono shock rear suspension. The bike is believed to have front and rear disc brakes, as well as single-channel ABS.
The Pulsar N160 test mule was spotted recently, showing all of the design features. In comparison to the Bajaj Pulsar N250, the smaller engine components and fewer equipment are visible. The Pulsar N160, which has been toned down, has also been seen with a kick-starter and a self-start. Although the N250 has a twin split-seat configuration, the N160 test mule was only seen with a single seat.

The bike will go up against the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, which is the segment leader in the 160cc motorcycle segment. At present, Bajaj only sells the NS160 in this segment for Rs 1.22 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Due to the obvious additional equipment and technology, the price of the N160 will be a little higher than the NS160.
Bajaj Auto may also unveil the new Pulsar 125 soon, which was reportedly spotted in heavy camouflage. For the time being, we may assume that Bajaj will reveal the new-generation Pulsar 125 after launching the N160.
