BMW X1 SportX and X5 SportX Variants Explained

BMW India recently launched the SportX variant in the X5, which replaced the Sport trim. Similarly, with the X1 facelift, BMW launched the base SportX trim, which starts at Rs 35.90 lakhs. BMW's Sportz line of frames is the most affordable trim and comes with decent equipment. We will explain the features of the BMW X1 SportX and X5 SportX.

BMW X1 SportX

BMW X1 SportX is only offered in the sDrive20i trim, and it sits lower than the xLine trim. The petrol engine only comes in SportX and xLine, whereas the diesel comes in xLine and M Sport. Talking about the powerhouse first, the X1 SportX gets a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine which produces 192 PS and 280 Nm of torque, mated with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The dual-clutch gearbox also offers launch control, and 0-100 comes up after 7.7 seconds.
