Citroen C3 Aircross Bookings To Open From September 15: Creta Rival

After unveiling its contender against the Hyundai Creta, Citroen will start accepting bookings of the Citroen C3 Aircross bookings from September 15th. The French automaker is looking to sway the masses by adding modular options for large families with modular seating options.

The bookings for the C3 Aircross begin from September 15 while the deliveries are set to begin in October. This new SUV is available in a 5-seater option and also with a 7-seating layout. These 2 extra seats eat the spacing of the boot, but it is a bargain, we all have to live with it, but.... Remember the modular seating we talked about?

What's interesting is how easily the third row can be removed completely from the car. Both the seats can be removed by simply pulling a latch from the bottom and can be put back with equal ease. You can use these seats according to your needs. Pretty nifty, Right?

Feature List: Nothing Overwhelming

Like the C3, on which this Aircross is based, it gets a few things and misses out on others. You will get functionality, but not the premium features. Although a fully digital driver's cluster is a welcome and techy onboarding. Apart from this, wireless Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay, a 10-inch infotainment screen, and 5 fast charging ports make their way.

It misses out on some useful features as well like Automatic AC, request sensors, cruise control, and push start/stop functionality. But with the price point at which it is coming as per reports, all this would make sense.

The upcoming Citroen C3 Aircross derives its power from a 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, producing 108bhp and 190Nm of torque. Moreover, this engine is mated exclusively to a 6-speed manual transmission. Promising a claimed mileage of 18.50kmpl, the C3 Aircross aims to establish itself as a fuel-efficient choice within its segment. Additionally, Citroen is diligently working on an electric version of the C3 Aircross as well, anticipated to premiere in the early months of the next year.
