Hyundai is gearing up to announce the pricing for the 2024 Hyundai Creta in January next year. Currently, the automaker is conducting tests on the updated model in India and overseas. This refreshed mid-size SUV is expected to be unveiled gradually through a series of teaser releases, with bookings likely to open shortly thereafter. One notable fact is that this facelift is different than the one currently on sale internationally.

These spy shots of the Creta facelift reveal several key elements that confirm it as an updated version intended to compete with the new Seltos and Elevate, rather than the model currently available in global markets. Noteworthy features include distinctive inverted L-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs), a split headlight setup with LED headlamps, fresh roof rails and alloy wheel designs, and updated LED taillights.

Additionally, the facelifted Creta will showcase revised bumpers, blackened B-pillars, H-shaped taillight designs, an adjusted tailgate with a dedicated number plate recess, fog lights, and simulated skid plates. To make it malleate into the new design language of the South Korean Marque, it aims to follow Exter's design cues, where H-shaped DRLs are being incorporated at the front.

It delivers a power output of 160 bhp and a peak torque of 253 Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). Additionally, the Creta is likely to continue offering the existing engine choices, which include a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-liter diesel engine.
