Big Savings Across Bajaj's Popular Line-Up

The price correction applies across Bajaj's extensive portfolio of motorcycles below 350cc. This includes:
- Pulsar series (excluding the 400cc models)
- Dominar 250
- Avenger range
- Platina and CT commuter bikes
Depending on the model and variant, buyers can expect reductions of up to Rs. 20,000, making these motorcycles even more attractive for value-conscious riders.
KTM Motorcycles Under 350cc Joins In

Bajaj's premium brand KTM will also benefit from the revised GST structure. The updated pricing applies to models such as:
- KTM Duke 160, 200, 250
- KTM RC 200
- KTM 250 Adventure
These models, known for their performance and premium hardware, will now become more accessible to enthusiasts, particularly younger riders looking for an affordable entry point into the KTM stable.
Premium Segment Faces Higher Taxes
While commuters and mid-capacity buyers cheer, the story is different for motorcycles above 350cc. These models will now be taxed at a steep 40% rate, up from the earlier 31% (28% GST + 3% cess). This means premium offerings like the Dominar 400, Pulsar NS400Z, and KTM's 390 Duke, 390 Adventure, RC 390, and 390 Enduro are expected to become significantly more expensive.

Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director, Bajaj Auto Ltd., welcomed the reform, stating: "The Governments decision to reduce GST for most two-wheelers and three-wheelers is a bold step forward, which will unlock demand and set the industry on a firm growth path. We thank the Government of India for the initiative that touches the lives of millions. Two and three-wheeler mobility is the backbone of livelihoods and fulfills many family aspirations. At Bajaj Auto Ltd, we are delighted to support the initiative, making our vehicles more affordable just as the festive season begins."
Verdict
With GST 2.0, Bajaj Auto has positioned itself to ride a wave of renewed consumer interest. Affordable commuters like the Platina and CT series will appeal strongly to daily riders, while performance-focused options like the Pulsar 250 and KTM Duke 250 now become even more attainable. Although larger-capacity bikes above 350cc face steeper taxes, the core mass-market segment gets a much-needed price relief, which is expected to drive volumes for both Bajaj and KTM in India. However, with Indian riders becoming more aspirational, the benefits could have included bikes upto 400cc, a segment that has caught a good traction in recent times.
