Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition Second Batch Is Also Sold Out

Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition second batch is also out of sale now. The Rally Edition is equipped with better suspension and a special colour scheme.

Well, Hero is at it again. After successfully selling the first batch of its special edition Xpulse, the second batch is also sold out. Yes, the Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition second batch bookings have been closed. The official information is already live on the brand's social media handles. Meanwhile, the number of units sold has not been disclosed until now. The Rally Edition bike offers better suspension and added cosmetic updates.

Hero Xpulse Rally Edition Details

Speaking of the Rally Edition, it is priced at Rs 1,52,100 ex-showroom, Delhi. This price is Rs 16,000 more than the standard variant of the bike. So, what more do you get by paying more? For starters, the suspension on the Rally Edition is better. The front forks can travel up to 250mm and are fully adjustable as well. Meanwhile, the rear suspension is the same pre-load, adjustable 220mm travel monoshock.

However, the main changes are cosmetic. The paint scheme is a limited white and red livery that has been inspired by Hero's Dakar Rally factory bike. Additionally, the fuel tank embraces a signature from CS Santosh himself who is the factory rider for Hero in the Dakar Rally. Apart from this, there are no further mechanical changes. This means it continues using the same BS6-compliant 200cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, the motor is tuned to develop 18.9bhp at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm.

As the bookings for the second lot are completed, we suspect that the bikes will also be delivered soon to the owners. However, if you're planning to buy the Rally Edition; patience remains the only option as of now. Unless the only rival to it is the Honda CB200 X.

Vehicle is excellent no doubt. But, hero is only concerned in sales. Support is -5, ASC's has no idea about this vehicle. Hero is least bothered about giving a permanent solution.

  • This bike can literally go anywhere. And even if you did get stuck, thanks to its low kerb weight, it was easy to pull the bike out of the obstacle.
