Apollo Tramplr Motorcycle Tyres Launched In India

Apollo Tramplr motorcycle tyres are now available in India. The new range of all-purpose two-wheeler tyres claims to offer better performance & life.

One of the prominent tyre manufacturers in India, Apollo, has launched its new range of products. Badged Apollo Tramplr motorcycle tyres, the new products range for a variety of bikes. Apollo India has introduced two different products i.e. the 'XR' and the 'ST' range. These tyres are designed to suit bikes ranging between 150-500cc. Meanwhile, the starting price is Rs 4,500 for the set depending on the product.

Apollo Tramplr XR Details

The Tramplr XR is an all-rounder tyre as per the company. Designed to suit every terrain, it is more of an all-purpose tyre. The block design of it focuses on more traction and better performance altogether. Additionally, the sidewall of it has been designed rather tastefully with graffiti. The graffiti describes the aesthetic of the XR i.e. to take on any road without fear.

However, it comes in three different variants. A 90/90 - 19 front and 120/80 - R18 rear that fits will on the 350cc to 500cc range i.e Royal Enfield Classic 350, Meteor 350. Additionally, a more suitable variant supports the generic bikes more. A 100/80 - 17 inch at the front and an R17 at the rear with 140/70 section is meant for bikes like the Yamaha FZ FI & Yamaha MT-15.

Apollo has also made a 17-inch set for both ends in the XR series. This tyre type is suitable for bikes as such the KTM Duke 390, Honda CB300 R, & the BMW G 310 R. The key performance area of the XR is its usability on any track. It is designed to commute every day, help fuel economy as well as do moderate trail riding whenever required. The XR range starts from Rs 6,500 and goes upwards depending upon the size chosen.

Apollo Tramplr ST Details

The second product is more centric on the tarmac. The ST range, however, is available in two variants. The first one is suited for the bikes like the Bajaj Pulsar N160, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V & the Honda Unicorn. It is a 17-inch setup for both ends, hence, a lot of products will be benefited via the ST.

Speaking of the second variant, it is a 17-inch rubber but with different sizes for both ends. This variant is more suitable for bikes with a range between 150-250cc. Meanwhile, the performance of the ST is very confident as well as grippy. The ST remains stable and confident on the gravel and broken patches. In fact, during our test run, the ST performed brilliantly. Additionally, the ST helps in braking as well hence increasing the confidence of the rider.

The ST range starts at a rather affordable price of Rs 4,500 for the set. The pricing fluctuates depending on the size chosen.
