Hyundai Creta & Alcazar Adventure Editions Trademarked - Read Details

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. appears to be gearing up to introduce a new edition of the Creta and Alcazar SUVs. The upcoming editions will be known as the Creta Adventure and Alcazar Adventure. The brand has already obtained trademarks for both names. While the company has been tight-lipped about the exact launch date, we expect it to take place by the end of August or in early September. Hyundai Creta & Alcazar Adventure Edition

The upcoming Adventure editions of the Creta and Alcazar are likely to showcase the new Ranger Khaki color, which was recently introduced with the Exter model. Hyundai seems to be incorporating this new color to give the SUVs a more adventurous and rugged appearance. This decision might have been influenced by the strong demand for the Ranger Khaki color on the Exter.

Furthermore, we can expect to see black accents on various parts of the SUVs, complementing the Khaki color theme. Additionally, the brand may introduce some modifications to the bumpers, side profile, and interior of these editions. Inside the cabin, the interior is anticipated to feature a dash of the same Khaki color treatment, possibly on elements like the dashboard and seat upholstery, adding to the overall adventurous vibe of the vehicles.

On the features front, we don't expect any changes, and the brand will continue to offer the same set of features based on the variants offered with the Adventure edition. The Adventure edition is expected to be offered in multiple trims for both Creta and Alcazar.

Hyundai Creta & Alcazar Adventure - No Mechanical Changes

The Creta and Alcazar Adventure editions will retain the same engine and transmission options as the standard variants. The Hyundai Creta is equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 113bhp of power and 144 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or an IVT. It also gets a 1.5-liter diesel engine generating 114 bhp and 260 Nm of peak torque. This engine can be coupled with either a 6-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission.

As for the Alcazar, it shares the same diesel powertrain as the Creta, which is a 1.5-liter diesel engine. In addition, the Alcazar Petrol variant is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine, producing 158 bhp and 253 Nm of peak torque. This engine can be paired with either a 7-speed DCT or a 6-speed manual transmission.
