Hyundai i20 N Line Teased in Official Teaser [VIDEO]

Hyundai Motor India Private Limited has today finally announced that the company will be bringing its performance-oriented N Line of cars to India soon. The new N Line of cars will surely help Hyundai India to attract youth buyers and automotive enthusiasts who always wanted to have a sporty car in their garage without burning a hole in their pocket. The South Korean car manufacturer has today officially announced that the first N Line car will be coming to India this year & it will be the Hyundai i20 N Line hatchback.

Hyundai i20 N Line - What To Expect?

Hyundai's N Line of cars usually get a host of sporty cosmetic updates over the regular models along with some mechanical tweaks. However, it needs to be mentioned that these are N Line cars and not the full-blown 'N Cars'. Initially, Hyundai will bring only N Line cars in India and the N Cars might be brought at a later point in time. The new i20 N Line will feature sporty front and rear bumpers, Hyundai's cascading grille with new sporty piano black inserts, twin-exhaust pipes, a diffuser at the rear, new larger wheels along with some new colour shades. On the inside, the i20 N Line will get new upholstery with red stitching, N badges, sporty seats and much more.

Hyundai i20 N Line - Engine Specifications

The upcoming i20 N Line will sit at the top of the i20 range in India. As of now, the standard Hyundai i20 is offered with three BS6 compliant petrol engines in India - 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre diesel mill and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol motor. It is this very same turbocharged petrol engine that will be plonked inside the hood of the upcoming i20 N Line too. This motor will churn out 120 PS of maximum power and 171 Nm of peak torque. It will come mated to a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission) and Hyundai might offer a 6-speed manual transmission too with this hot hatch.
