Hyundai has unveiled the facelifted version of its Hyundai Tucson in the international market, showcasing a refreshed exterior design and updated interiors for the two-row premium SUV. The revamped model is anticipated to make its debut in the Indian market sometime next year, bringing a renewed aesthetic and enhanced features to Hyundai's SUV lineup.

Hyundai Tucson Globally Debuts

The exterior of the Tucson undergoes subtle enhancements in the facelift, featuring a redesigned and sharper-looking parametric grille, along with new front and rear bumpers. The updated model also sports a fresh set of alloy wheels. While these changes contribute to a refined and modern look, the overall design remains largely similar to the previous iteration of the Tucson.

Interior And Features

The Tucson's facelift brings significant changes to its interior design. Notable updates include a new three-spoke steering wheel, a redesigned dashboard and center console layout, modified air conditioning vents and control panel, twin 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment system and instrument cluster, and a repositioned gear lever, now located on the steering column instead of the center console. These interior enhancements aim to provide a more modern and ergonomic driving experience for occupants.

The Tucson, in its facelifted avatar, retains an extensive set of features. The first is a 2.0-liter Normal Petrol engine, generating 156PS of power at 6200rpm and 192Nm of torque at 4500rpm, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The second option is a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel unit that produces 183 BHP @ 4000 rpm and 416 Nm @ 2000-2750 rpm, coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. These powertrains provide a blend of performance and efficiency to cater to different driving preferences.
