Jeep Compass And Compass Trailhawk Now Expensive Than Before - Here Are The Latest Prices

Jeep has hiked the prices of both Compass and Compass Trailhawk by Rs 25,000 across all the variants. Jeep's more capable off-roader, Wrangler does not get any price hike at all. In this article, we will share the revised prices of the Compass and Trailhawk.

The Compass Trailhawk is now priced at Rs 30.97 lakh instead of Rs 30.72 lakh that was before. Similarly, the petrol Jeep Compass is priced from Rs 18.04 lakh to Rs 26.59 lakh and the oil burner from Rs 19.74 lakh to Rs 29.59 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.

Following the price increase of the Compass, Jeep has also discontinued the 80th Anniversary edition of the Compass from the line-up. The Compass gets two engine options - 1.4L petrol and 2.0L oil burner. The same diesel motor is seen on the Compass Trailhawk as well.

The four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel motor generates 168 bhp of power on tap with a maximum torque of 350 Nm. A 6-speed manual transmission is offered as standard on the Compass while a 9-speed torque converter is seen as an option. The Compass Trailhawk only gets a 9-speed AT as its standard gearbox.

The 1.4L, turbo petrol motor produces as much as 161 bhp of power with 250 Nm of peak torque. This unit is mated to a 6-speed stick shift as standard and an optional 7-speed DCT. In other news, Jeep is also set to launch its 7-seater SUV, Meridian in the coming weeks. It will rival the MG Gloster. Skoda Kodiaq and the mighty Toyota Fortuner.
