Mahindra XUV BE 6e and XEV 9e: Mahindra's most awaited launch of the year is close now. The manufacturer is ready to introduce its two modern BEVs- the BE 6e and XEV 9e on November 26. Mahindra XUV BE 6e and XEV 9e: Design

Taking a look at the sketches, it is apparent that both models get an edgy design language. The sharp lines on the exterior are the major design characteristic of both the E-SUVs. Additionally, the Mahindra has adopted a peculiar and very different design for the headlights which seems to be an EV special thing on both models.

Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e: Battery Options

Both E-SUVs will get two battery options: a 59kWh and a bigger 79 kWh unit. Mahindra has used Lithium iron phosphate chemistry. The automaker claims these batteries can charge 20 to 80 per cent in just 20 minutes with a 175kW DC fast charger. The quick charging capability makes it very convenient for users to charge the vehicle on the go.

Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e: Powertrain Technology

Mahindra is offering a new and advanced three-in-one powertrain that comprises the motor, inverter and transmission. The RWD variants on offer generate 231 hp of power and 286 hp. The Mahindra BE 6e will also offer an all-wheel drive variant which will be equipped with an extra motor, positioned on the front axle.

Both XUV BE 6e and XEV 9e will offer driving modes to get the desired driving experience in different conditions. Also, there is a semi-active suspension system supplementing the drive quality.

Features

The Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e will be equipped with several segments' first features. These include brake-by-wire technology and electronic controls for better braking performance. The brake-by-wire on offer has replaced the hydraulic systems and provides top-notch stopping power while recovering the energy made during acceleration. Other features will include a muti-screen setup (two on the BE 6e and three on the XEV 9e), a two-spoke steering wheel and an illuminated Mahindra logo.
