Mahindra Scorpio N Z2 Base Variant Walkaround - Here's What You Get

The Scorpio N was introduced by Mahindra a few months ago, and towards the end of this month, deliveries will begin. The SUV has received a great response from buyers and the top-spec version will receive priority from the brand. Now the internet has a video of the base Scorpio N Z2 model that shows every feature. Team Car Delight posted the walkaround video to their YouTube channel.

Starting from the front profile, the Scorpio N Z2 base variant gets a blacked out grille with standard halogen headlamps and black bumper. Although they can be added aftermarket, the bumper doesn't come with any fog lamps. The 17-inch steel wheels with black wheel cladding on the body are added to the side of the SUV's base model. Additionally, rather than being body coloured, the ORVMs and door handles are blacked out. Although, one can get ORVMs and door knobs painted in body colour by paying Rs 2,500. The back also gets black bumper, door handle and a basic windscreen without defoggers.

Moving on to the interior, it is extremely plain and has only the most basic amenities. The dashboard and door pads are finished with brown plastic. All four power windows, manual AC controls, manual ORVM adjustment, idle start-stop functionality, and other standard features are included in the base edition. A storage armrest, two cupholders, and additional storage areas are included in the centre console. There are front-facing seats in all three rows and gets dual-tone fabric seats.

It has four disc brakes, ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX child mounts for safety.

Mahindra Scorpio N Engine

A 2.0-liter petrol engine and a 2.2-liter diesel engine power the Scorpio N. Both the 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions are paired with both engines. The base variant's diesel engine produces a maximum of 300 Nm of torque and 129 bhp of power. The petrol engine has a maximum power output of 200 bhp and a maximum torque of 370 Nm.
