Mahindra Thar Roxx Now Gets Keyless Entry And Other New Features

Mahindra has refined the Thar Roxx, addressing certain convenience and comfort aspects in a silent update. Previously, the vehicle required manual key operation for entry, but now features keyless entry. Additionally, the front passenger armrest has been upgraded to include a sliding mechanism, mirroring the driver's side, for improved comfort. A further enhancement is the introduction of aerodynamic wipers, which are less noisy and better in function. While these changes might appear subtle, they collectively contribute to making the Thar Roxx a more appealing and practical option for everyday use.

Thar Roxx was already a feature-rich SUV with tech like a 12.5-inch touchscreen display, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, a 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, powered driver seat adjustment, and a lot more. Customers considering the Mahindra Thar Roxx can select between a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.2-liter diesel engine. The petrol engine's output varies where the manual transmission base models offer 150 hp power and 330 Nm of torque, while higher trim levels maintain the torque but increase horsepower to 160. The automatic petrol variant provides the highest output, with 175hp power and 380 Nm of torque. The diesel engine delivers a consistent 150 hp and 330 Nm of torque in rear-wheel-drive configurations, whether manual or automatic. The top-of-the-line four-wheel-drive automatic diesel model, however, offers a slightly increased 171hp and 370 Nm torque.

Mahindra Thar Roxx is priced at Rs. 12.99 lakhs ex-showroom and goes all the way up to Rs. 23.09 lakhs ex-showroom.
