Maruti Fronx - Facelift
The Maruti Fronx facelift is expected to feature a redesigned front fascia with a more chiselled grille and a more aggressive bumper, giving it an evolved design language. A new alloy wheel design is almost certain, while the side profile is likely to remain unchanged. However, we do expect Maruti to introduce rear disc brakes. At the back, updates will likely be limited to a revised bumper and subtle tweaks to the tail-light design. Other expected exterior changes include new colour options, possibly with dual-tone paint schemes.

The interior is expected to feature a larger 10.1-inch infotainment screen, replacing the current 9-inch unit, especially as competitors have moved towards more tech-loaded offerings. Additionally, the driver's information display could be fully digital this time, replacing the current analogue setup with a small central display, which now feels quite dated.

The engine lineup is expected to remain unchanged, with three options on offer: a 1.2L four-cylinder petrol, a 1.0L turbo-petrol, and a 1.2L CNG. The gearbox options are also likely to stay the same. The Fronx, launched in 2023, quickly became a hit and has even impacted the sales of smaller Maruti cars like the Swift and Baleno. With a starting price of Rs 6.85 lakh (ex-showroom), it taps perfectly into the ongoing SUV trend. Whether it's a crossover or simply a raised hatchback no longer matters - buyers want an SUV stance and presence. In that sense, the Fronx seems well-positioned to continue its strong run.
