Mercedes-AMG A35 & CLA 35 Edition 55 Versions Revealed - All Details

Mercedes-AMG recently revealed the new Edition 55 models of the CLA35 and the A35 to celebrate 55 years since the inception of the performance brand. The special edition models feature a long list of updates including additional aero bits and an anniversary edition plaque on the steering wheel. Here are all the details that you should check out.

The A35 and the CLA 35 Edition 55 models feature a gloss black Night Package treatment while no changes have been made to the powertrain of the car. For starters, both cars are offered with an AMG aerodynamics package as a standard that significantly improves the driving dynamics. The aero package consists of an enlarged front splitter, and a large rear wing in addition to side spoiler lips to further enhance the looks and dynamics. Both the cars also get gloss black treatment on the trim elements, exterior mirrors, and outer air intakes. The tailpipes too are finished in black, as are the wings, boot lid, front grille, model badges and window sills.

Inside, both the cars will get a combination of black and red leather while the steering wheel is finished with microfibre. The door sills feature illuminated red AMG lettering while the dash features aluminium trim with red and black accents. Both the car continue to feature the same 2.0-L turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 302 hp of peak power output while the maximum torque stands at 400 Nm. Two paint options are offered with these cars - Cosmos Black Metallic and Digital White Metallic. The 19-inch alloys wheels too remain similar on both the models and feature a similar grey finish.
