Mercedes-Benz has reintroduced the V-Class luxury MPV in India, with prices starting at Rs. 1.40 crore (introductory, ex-showroom). Extra-Long Wheelbase and Private Suite Cabin

Mercedes V-Class

The new V-Class is offered exclusively in the extra-long wheelbase format, measuring 5,370 mm in length with a 3,430 mm wheelbase. This configuration enables a spacious six-seat layout designed around rear-seat luxury.

The second row features individual first-class seats with ventilation, massage, calf support, deployable cupholders, and wireless charging. In a segment first, the third row also gets ventilated seats along with ISOFIX mounts and USB ports. Front occupants receive electrically adjustable and ventilated seats with cushion length adjustment.

Mercedes describes the cabin as a "private suite on wheels," aimed at buyers seeking privacy, comfort, and flexibility for family or chauffeur-driven travel.

Petrol and Diesel Powertrains with Mild Hybrid Tech

For the first time in India, the V-Class is available with a petrol engine alongside the diesel option.

  • Petrol: 2.0-litre turbo producing 228 bhp plus 20 bhp mild-hybrid boost
  • Diesel: 2.0-litre producing 233 bhp

Both engines are paired with Mercedes-Benzs 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. India also becomes the first global market to offer AIRMATIC air suspension on both powertrains, tuned specifically for local road conditions.
