Kia Seltos Variant Rejig Incoming; Features Shuffled

Going by the newly leaked document online, the Kia Seltos is all set to receive a new HTE(O) base trim with more features with the current entry-spec HTE going to be shelved for good. With a range of new features being readied for introduction, check out the features and the nomenclature of these new trims below.

New Kia Seltos Base Model

As mentioned above, the HTE(O) is going to be the new entry-level model for the mid-size SUV and will replace the current base model, and eventually be renamed to the HTE only as that makes sense. it will be getting these extra features:

• Wireless Android Auto/Apple Carplay
• 4x speakers+2x tweeters
• Auto headlamps
• Steering-mounted controls
• Rear camera
• LED DRL
• Connected tail lamps

HTK (O) Variant

The Seltos 2025 is also getting another new HTK (O) variant, which will be slotted above the HTK trim. Notably, the Panoramic sunroof introduced with this variant will make it the most affordable in the segment with this much sought-after feature. Other additional features are as follows.

• 16" alloy wheels
• Rear wiper with washer
• Roof rails

HTK+ (O) Variant

This variant will be placed above the HTK+ trim and will offer these features over the previous model:

HTX & HTX(O) Variants New Features

The HTX trim of the Sonet is set to receive several updates. On models equipped with the CVT, an electronic parking brake will be added. All HTX variants will also gain stylish 17-inch machined alloy wheels and a convenient wireless phone charger. However, the chrome door handles and the option for an auto-clutch manual transmission will be discontinued on this trim level. Stepping up to the new HTX(O) variant will further add a power-adjustable driver's seat over the standard HTX features.
