Broader Reach, Smarter Engineering
With the latest certification for the BR10 EZ-Shift (AMT) model, customers can now opt for a factory-approved retrofit kit that combines the convenience of an automatic gearbox with the fuel savings of CNG. The upgrade introduces a thoughtfully redesigned fuelling system where the CNG filling valve is now positioned within the standard fuel lid, replacing the earlier engine-bay setup. This change ensures faster refuelling, improved ergonomics, and greater day-to-day convenience.
Nissan is offering the retrofitment with a 3-year or 1 lakh km warranty, underlining its confidence in the systems reliability and quality.
Nissan Magnite: Affordable and Value-Rich Upgrade
The CNG retrofitment kit for the Magnite has been priced at Rs. 71,999, inclusive of the recent GST reduction from 28% to 18%. Despite the enhancements, Nissan has retained the same price across all authorised retrofitment centres nationwide, effective since September 22, 2025.
Commenting on the rollout, Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said that the introduction of the AMT retrofitment reflects Nissan's agile response to customer needs. He emphasised that the upgraded fuelling design and unchanged price make the ownership experience more seamless, accessible, and rewarding.
Nissan Magnite: Nationwide Availability
The retrofitment program is currently operational across 13 states, including Delhi-NCR, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and more. Developed and quality-verified by Motozen Fuel Systems, the government-approved kit is available exclusively for Magnite models equipped with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, both in Manual (BR10 MT) and EZ-Shift (AMT) versions. All installations are carried out at authorised Nissan retrofitment centres, ensuring complete compliance with safety and emission norms.

The Nissan Magnite has earned a reputation for its safety and reliability, achieving a 5-star GNCAP rating for adult occupant protection and featuring six airbags as standard across the lineup. Reinforcing this, Nissan offers a 10-year extended warranty plan - a first in the segment-further strengthening long-term customer confidence.

Adding flair to the range, Nissan also introduced the Magnite KURO Special Edition, showcasing a bold black exterior, premium interior accents, and Japanese-inspired detailing. A new Metallic Grey colour option further enhances the visual appeal, ensuring there's a Magnite for every personality.
