Skoda India has commenced the deliveries of Kushaq 1.5L TSI for both the manual as well as automatic transmission. As promised, Skoda has fulfilled its promise of delivering the 1.5L TSI to owners by mid-August. The same unit is now out on dealerships and the potential buyers can experience the product in full glory.
The bigger 1.5L turbocharged stratified injection engine churns out 150 PS of power at 5000 RPM with a peak torque of 250 Nm at 1500 RPM. This unit can be had with a 6-speed stick shift or an optional 7-speed DSG. The ARAI certified mileage for the manual variant stick to 17.95 kmpl whereas the DSG delivers 17.71 kmpl.
Commenting on this, Mr Zac Hollis, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India said, We are extremely thrilled to commence the deliveries of the 1.5L TSI KUSHAQ to customers. The fact that the 1.5L TSI engine can deliver 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque with a fuel efficiency of 17.95 kmpl is an incredible testament to the power of TSI and the technologically advanced ACT system. The KUSHAQ is a vehicle specially designed and Made in India.

The 1.5L TSI is limited to the top of line Style variant only and feature-wise, it is equipped with an electric sunroof, automatic climate control, ventilated seats, rear AC vents, electronic IRVM, engine start/stop button, cruise control, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, power-folding ORVMs, a touchscreen infotainment system that offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Safety features on the Skoda Kushaq include multiple airbags, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, electronic stability control, a high-speed alert system, front seat belt reminder, traction control, electronic differential lock, hill hold control and more.
