Skoda Kushaq Facelift Spied

The Skoda Kushaq facelift has been spied testing recently; however, it seems like a mid-spec, going by the alloy wheel design. Going by these spyshots, we can make out that the overall silhouette remains intact, but the front and rear bumpers have been reworked a bit. Up front, you can expect new LED headlights with a reworked grille with the same but slimmer vertical slats. Meanwhile, at the rear, expected to boast a connected LED taillamps setup with a slightly revamped tailgate and bumper. However, the alloys hint that it is a mid spec variant this time.

Interiors

While the spyshots have not clearly revealed the cabin, reports suggest that the Kushaq facelift will boast new interior shades and possibly a little premium materials this time. Although the Kushaq comes with a decent set of features, Skoda needs the raise the bar in this most competitive segment. It is expected to come up with a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, better infotainment with premium speakers, and level 2 ADAS, which they still miss out on in their whole lineup. However, being a mid spec trim , it won't boast all these premium features. Safety-wise, the car already comes loaded with 6 airbags, ABS, ESC, TPMS and More.
Powertrains
Under the hood, it is not expected to bring any changes; the same 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre TSI units will continue. Moreover, the power figures are also expected to be the same, 115 PS and 178 Nm, and 150 PS and 250 Nm, respectively. Meanwhile, it will continue to be paired with the same transmission, including a 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter and a 7-speed DSG unit.
Launch Timeline
Skoda is expected to launch the Kushaq facelift in early 2026, which will act as mid mid-cycle update ahead of the new generation launch around 2027 and 28. Pricing would remain similar, and will rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Grand Vitara etc.

With rivals like the Creta and Seltos already updated, this facelift is Skodas chance to bridge the gap and attract buyers looking for a premium yet practical midsize SUV.
