Skoda Slavia Facelift: Subtle But Notable Design Refresh

New spy images show that Skoda is polishing the Slavia's familiar silhouette with sharper detailing rather than a complete redesign. The signature grille appears unchanged, but the surrounding elements, including the bumper, DRLs, and headlamp internals, are expected to feature modernised patterns and reworked lighting signatures. The lower bumper of the Skoda Slavia wears a new mesh-style treatment, finished in gloss black, giving the sedan a sportier, more premium stance. Along the sides, the overall profile remains clean and coupe-like, although the test mule showcases a fresh alloy wheel design finished in black. The rear end may also receive tweaks to the tail-lamps and bumper, helping visually differentiate the facelift from the current model without straying from the Slavia's elegant proportions.

Interior: Big Feature Upgrades Coming

The facelifted Slavia is expected to follow the upgrade philosophy of the upcoming Kushaq facelift, adding several significant features. A refreshed touchscreen infotainment system with improved UI, updated digital instrumentation, and a more premium dashboard layout are likely inclusions. One of the biggest enhancements could be the introduction of Level 2 ADAS, bringing the Slavia in line with rivals like the Honda City and Hyundai Verna. Skoda Slavia Facelift Engines: No Mechanical Changes Expected

Skoda is likely to continue with the same trusted TSI turbo-petrol engines for the Slavia facelift, retaining the 1.0-litre unit that delivers 115 PS and 178 Nm with 6-speed manual and automatic options, along with the more powerful 1.5-litre TSI producing 150 PS and 250 Nm paired to a 7-speed DSG. These engines already set benchmarks in performance and refinement within the segment, so Skoda is expected to carry them forward unchanged to preserve the sedan's strong powertrain advantage.
