Earlier this week, Tata Motors launched its flagship electric SUV, the Harrier EV, priced at Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The starting price has taken many by surprise. The Harrier EV comes packed with a wide range of features, even in the base variant. It will be available in three variants, with the Adventure variant serving as the base model of the lineup. Tata Harrier EV - Adventure Variant Features

The base variant of the Harrier EV will feature a single 65 kWh battery pack and a rear-wheel drive (RWD) configuration. This battery pack variant includes a rear axle motor that generates 238 PS of power. For charging, the Harrier EV will support up to 120 kW DC charging, enabling the vehicle to charge from 20% to 80% in just 25 minutes. Additionally, the brand has implemented multiple terrain modes starting from the base variant, along with various drive modes. Below are a few of the performance features of the base variant.

Additional elements include roof rails, a shark fin antenna, LED bi-projector headlamps, an integrated side step, and a rear wiper with a washer. Inside, the design includes leatherette seats and a leather-wrapped two-spoke steering wheel, electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) with an auto-fold function, among others.
Tech & Convenience

The Adventure variant comes equipped with tech features, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also features a 10.25-inch digital instrument console, an 8-way adjustable driver's seat, and a 4-way adjustable co-driver's seat. Additionally, the setup includes four speakers and two tweeters, among other features listed below.

Tata Motors has hit the ball out of the park in terms of filling the Harrier EV with features. The brand has made sure that their flagship SUV gives touch competition to the rivals. Priced at Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the base Adventure variant offers a good number of features to keep the occupant happy. However, it will be interesting to see how the brand will price the other two variants and the AWD variant.
